Reston, Virginia — November 16, 2009 — Jason A. Minto has returned from an Army Reserve deployment in Iraq. He returns to the role of President at Lomin LLC, the people who offer and develop SIM CD with offices in Reston. He will be responsible for Executive Management.
“It is a tremendous relief to have Jason back and running the company,” said Aimee Minto, Financial Officer of Lomin LLC. “The company has struggled without his leadership. We have been looking forward to this return for a long time.”
Jason A. Minto was involuntarily deployed with the 304th Sustainment Brigade of Riverside, CA. The 304th SBDE was deployed to Joint Base Balad, Iraq for Sustainment Operations in central Iraq. Mr. Minto was the Signal Section NCO in charge. He was responsible for managing and supporting Computer Network and Radio Operations for the Brigade, its three subordinate Battalions and their subordinate units. He received the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service during the mission.
“(MSG Minto is an) outstanding Soldier, NCO, and leader,” said LTC Norman B. Green, Commanding. “MSG Minto was clearly instrumental in the success of the Brigade’s S-6 Section.”
Jason A. Minto founded Lomin LLC in 2004. Prior to Lomin LLC, he held the position of Team Leader at NFR Security where he was responsible for developing the user interfaces for their security products. Previously, Jason A. Minto worked for eXMeritus Software as Senior Software Engineer where he was responsible for developing the Hardware Wall.
“I look forward to rebuilding Lomin Security in the market after having been gone for so long,” said Jason A. Minto. “The lessons learned from deployment will greatly enhance Lomin Security’s ability to service the customer. That and our expertise with Computer Network Defense Software Engineering will bring to market products with significant strength.”
Jason A. Minto earned his Certified Ethical Hacker Certification from Vigilar’s Intense School. He received his Associates in Mathematics from Sinclair Community College, where he was on the Dean’s List.
Jason A. Minto lives in Reston, Virginia with Aimee and their child.
